We will have a midterm exam in early Apr.ย The exam is in-class, 50 minute long and closed-book. It contains approximately 15 questions. All questions will be either multiple choices, or fill in the blank types.
All questions will test your knowledge and understandings of concepts. No derivations or extensive calculations are required. Here is a sample exam and solution used previously. The sample exam covers some significantly harder written questions. However, we do not have this type of question this semester. The exam will be curved if the median is below 85. To be precise, we will make \(100 - c \cdot (100 - x)\) to have median 85, where \(x\) is the original score.
